IS IT JUST ME, OR...: ISSUE #1
The story of a failed business experiment, and what I found instead.
Welcome to the first issue of the WTFT Newsletter.
WTFT began with a challenge:
Walk 6,000km across Europe.
Build a $100K replicable business at the same time.
It didn’t work the way I’d thought.
I didn’t make the money I expected.
The audience didn’t grow as fast as I hoped.
The idea didn’t land.
But something else did: when I stopped trying to prove something, I started finding more purpose and seeing things differently.
Like how much of my ambition was still about ego.
Like how fulfillment comes from clarity.
Like how clarity doesn’t come from thinking more but from moving, honestly.
So, what now?
WTFT is not a project anymore and has become a living practice toward clarity, an example of what living a different life can be.
I live. I think. I share. That’s it.
If it helps someone else get honest sooner, that’s a bonus.
This newsletter is where that shows up. Each week, you’ll get a simple breakdown of one theme I walk with through the lens of:
Introspection (because clarity of values is a compass)
Mindset (because belief can be a tool or a trap)
Money (because it’s never just about money but money still matters)
So, let’s start.
🔍 INTROSPECTION — Not All Motion Leads to Clarity
We say we want clarity.
But most of us stay busy just to avoid the discomfort of choosing.
We keep moving but not forward.
We gather advice.
We scroll for answers.
We “build” things we’re not even sure we want.
Is it just me, or are we all afraid of choosing the wrong life so we don’t choose at all?
Here’s what I learned on the trail:
Clarity doesn’t come from stillness alone.
And it doesn’t come from endless motion either.
It comes from moving with intention,
questioning what you’re doing while you do it.
That’s where WTFT lives:
Somewhere between action and awareness.
🧠 MINDSET — Even Good Plans Need to Be Questioned
When I started WTFT, I wasn’t drifting.
I had a clear plan:
Walk 6,000km.
Build a replicable business.
Show people what’s possible.
It was bold, structured, and intentional.
But it did not work as I’d hoped.
What looked like a smart strategy did not land.
Poor plan? Poor execution? Too much ego?
Is it just me, or can even the plans we chose stop making sense if we never pause to question them?
That’s the risk of over-identifying with a plan
even one you were proud of.
You don’t need to burn it all down.
But you do need to stay awake to the signs that something needs to change.
💸 MONEY— Financial Independence ≠ Financial Freedom
Most people make one big mistake when chasing financial independence:
They assume it leads to financial freedom.
But it often doesn’t.
You can have a great job, enough money to live comfortably, and still have no time to enjoy it.
They’re stuck in a business model that feels more like a trap.
Financial independence is not financial freedom.
And it’s certainly not fulfillment.
So why not start with the end in mind?
How much money is enough?
How much time do you really want?
How would you spend that time if you had it?
No one gives you those answers.
They’re yours to define.

📺 THIS WEEK ON YOUTUBE
I walked 6,000km across Europe as a metaphor for building a business.
The first 4 episodes cover the vision, the planning, and the early struggles.
Live well, everybody. The adventure continues.
